LIVING AND STUDY EXPENSES IN Denmark.
Annual tuition fees for foreign non EU full-time degree students range from 6,000 to 16,000 Euro. But there are scholarships available.

The Danish Ministry of Education has launched a new scholarship program for students from non-EU/EEA countries studying specified subjects at Academies of Professional Higher Education and University Colleges. Scholarships and tuition fee waivers are available for highly talented students who have been admitted to a range of programs.

If your home country has a bilateral agreement with Denmark, it is also possible for non-Danish students and researchers to apply for a number of Danish Government scholarships. In accordance with the Cultural Agreement Programs and other scholarship exchange programs, Denmark offers scholarships to nationals from 27 countries inside and outside the EU.  Finally, PhD students and researchers are advised to look at The Researcher’s Mobility Portal for information about available programs.

Student living costs in Denmark range between Euro 600 – Euro 1000. per month and are higher if you want to study and live in Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital.

4) Working Permission

Non-EU nationals must have a work permit in order to work in Denmark. This work permit can be obtained at the respective Police Station. Students are allowed to work part time for 15 hours each week and full time during the months of June, July and August.  If you are looking for a summer job, you should apply for your work permit  in early spring (or at least two months before you need the work permit).

O nce you have obtained your work permit, you should start looking for a job right away. Unemployment in Denmark is fairly high and subsequently, it can be rather difficult to find a job.  Keep an eye on the various notice boards at your University and ask fellow students for advice. You can also contact the University's student job service
